Welcome to Artyard Handmade – our studio lies on the edge of Richmond Park and the river in London's SW14, offering you a fusion of creative social art and craft, with a unique twist.
The Artyard has been a creative centre for children for over 12 years, and now Artyard Handmade has been formed to create a fusion of art and craft blending traditional techniques of art with the latest ideas in contemporary craft and design.
We wanted to bring something inspiring and fresh to the market, whilst helping to enhance our community and nurture the idea of providing people with the skills to hand make things. We both have a passion for art and craft and love the fulfillment that making things brings. This inspired us to create a place that would make art and craft accessible to everyone.
Our studio is a happy, buzzing place where everyone is welcome to come and try new things, learn new skills, and leave inspired to go on creating at home. Our extensive range of workshops on offer means that there really is something for everyone; from photography to scrapbooking, our workshops combine elements of inspired design with a social element.
